DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- AON Neurodiagnostics, Inc., a leader in at-home ambulatory and continuous video EEG services, is proud to announce that it has earned its Accreditation from The Joint Commission, an independent, evidence-based standards-setting organization that sets the benchmark for safe, high-quality patient care through healthcare accreditation.

The accreditation, effective August 22, 2026, formally recognizes AON Neurodiagnostics’ ongoing commitment to meeting rigorous performance standards for healthcare quality and patient safety. During the survey, Joint Commission surveyors assessed AON’s compliance across key areas such as leadership, provision of care, record of care, information management, and performance improvement.

“Earning Joint Commission accreditation is an important milestone for AON and a reflection of the standards our team works to uphold every day,” said Patrick Smothers, Chief Executive Officer of AON Neurodiagnostics. “Our patients, referring providers, and healthcare partners trust us to deliver exceptional healthcare services, and this accreditation provides independent validation of our commitment to quality, safety, and an outstanding patient experience. We really do uphold our oath!”

Joint Commission accreditation evaluates healthcare organizations against established standards designed to promote safe, high-quality care. Surveyors conducted observations and interviews to identify performance strengths and opportunities for continued improvement. AON received an accreditation decision of Accredited for all services surveyed under the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual, demonstrating the organization’s adherence to those standards across its operations.

“Joint Commission congratulates AON Neurodiagnostics for achieving accreditation by demonstrating its focus on delivering safe and effective care of the highest quality and value,” says Ken Grubbs, DNP, MBA, RN, executive vice president of Accreditation and Certification Operations and chief nursing officer, Joint Commission. “Through the accreditation process, we worked closely with AON Neurodiagnostics to enable and affirm the highest standards of healthcare quality and patient safety. Together, we are elevating care for all patients, and we appreciate AON Neurodiagnostics’ collaboration throughout this process.”

The achievement follows an extensive, company-wide accreditation process that began in January 2026 and was led by Demetria Bell, Director of Human Resources. The process included a comprehensive review of AON’s policies, procedures, operations, and patient care practices, with every department contributing to the organization’s readiness. “This achievement belongs to our entire organization,” Smothers added. “Every department and every team member contributed to this accreditation – it is the standard by which this company thrives.”

For AON, the achievement further strengthens the foundation supporting the company’s continued growth in at-home ambulatory video EEG testing and inpatient remote neurodiagnostic monitoring. AON Neurodiagnostics will continue to build upon its quality and safety programs as it expands its services and partnerships with neurology practices, physicians, hospitals, and health systems across the country.

“This accreditation is not a finish line,” Smothers said. “It is another step in our commitment to setting a higher standard for neurodiagnostic care and delivering the level of service our patients and healthcare partners deserve.”
