CBP hosts September recruitment events

WASHINGTON – U.S. Customs and Border Protection will host several virtual recruitment events in September for attorneys, veteran and military spouses, marine interdiction agents, Border Patrol agents and CBP officers.

The events offer participants an opportunity to connect with recruiters and learn about career paths across the agency. Participants will hear directly from CBP employees serving in these mission-critical roles, learn about the hiring process, and receive guidance on applications, resumes and interviews.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit join.cbp.gov and register in advance.

CBP’s workforce plays a critical role in securing legitimate trade and travel and supporting the nation’s economic security. CBP careers are challenging and meaningful, and offer professional growth, mission and purpose.

CBP offers training, competitive pay and robust benefits. New CBP officers and agents may be eligible for up to $60,000 in incentive payments for certain locations. Federal hiring regulations apply to all CBP positions, and U.S. citizenship is required.
